Job Summary

The Office for Faculty is seeking detail-oriented and self-motivated students for part-time data entry. Students will be responsible for evaluating the quality of existing data, transferring it into a specified format, and loading it into our new faculty activity reporting system. This role requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with Excel. Students must be able to work independently as well as within a team and have good communication skills.

This is a temporary part-time position with highly flexible hours and the ability to work from home.

Responsibilities
  • Review and clean existing data in our legacy faculty activity reporting system
  • Transfer data to the file format required by the new faculty activity reporting system
  • Check data for quality and accuracy
  • Submit and log completed files
  • Meet with data manager
Minimum Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferences
  • Previous experience in data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Please also include in your cover letter the estimated number of hours/week that you would be available to work through the rest of the semester (from now until May 15) as well as during the summer.
