Essential Functions: Monitors and responds to all radio communications; dispatches calls for service; provides assistance, direction, and information via telephone and radio; enters all relevant data into the department's records management system; provides assistance to the communication specialist as needed; performs special projects as needed which includes training other dispatchers.
Physical Effort: The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and high stress situations. The successful candidate must be able to sit stationary for significant periods of time.
