Job Summary
The Transplant TSC is responsible coordinating patients' appointments, testing, complex schedules, and the necessary records/documentation for the patients' transplant evaluation process. This process will include multi-organ patients as well as single organ patients. The TSC communicates with the patient, transplant team members, and internal/external providers as needed. They may also assist with pre-certifications as needed. The Transplant PSC is a liaison and initial professional point of contact for providers and patients. Transplant TSC will establish and maintain positive relationships with clinicians, referring physicians, patients, and other customers by providing excellent customer service in a timely manner.
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Associates Degree and experience in scheduling, coordinating schedules, outpatient clinic experience, and UK APM experience, preferred.
