Physical Requirements

Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time, repetitive motions, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of equipment as needed.

Shift

M-F 8:00am-5:00pm; as an exempt employee, some work outside of these hours may be required to meet College or end-user needs and deadlines.

Job Summary

This position is part of the centralized IT support group for the College of Communication & Information.

This position will support research technical needs, supporting and troubleshooting hardware and software programs and platforms necessary to facilitate research. Routinely partner with faculty to develop both in-person and online solutions to support their research initiatives.

The position will work closely with the cybersecurity and server support coordinator to develop, implement, and manage applications and systems to fulfill administrative, instructional, or research needs of the College.

Support all College conferences including AV support, recording, Zoom management, streaming, projection, and other conference needs. Partner with other technicians to provide technical support for College-related events.
