Job Summary

Skilled professional needed to join the UK Targeted Assessment Program Opioid Use Disorder Project ( TAP OUD). We are looking for a team member with strong clinical and case management skills. The candidate must be passionate about helping and advocating for others.

The TAP OUD Specialist will be a UK employee and co-housed at the Department for Community Based Services office in Nicholasville, KY, and will conduct assessment interviews in the areas of substance use, mental health, intimate partner violence victimization, and learning problems; facilitate referrals; and increase access to medications assisted treatment and other community treatment services.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Engagement, assessment and intervention; written and verbal communication; MS Windows, Excel, and other basic computer skills; entering data into a web-based system.

Preferred Education/Experience

Master's degree plus 3 years of related experience in social work, counseling/treatment, case management, psychoeducation, harm reduction, peer support, adult education, rehabilitation, and other supportive services, or bachelor's degree plus equivalent.
