Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati (UC), College of Engineering and Applied Science invites applicants for a non-tenure track position as an Associate Professor-Educator in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE). A successful candidate will be expected to teach courses online and/or in a traditional classroom setting and participate in service related activities. In addition, the successful candidate may participate in curriculum and course development, including distance learning classes and e-learning experiences.
The Department of ECE offers ABET accredited undergraduate programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. The department also has graduate programs that confer Master of Science, Master of Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Essential Functions
- Teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses in Computer Engineering and Computer Science disciplines in specialty areas, such as but not limited to Intro to Computing Systems, Computer Networks, Intro to Computer Architecture and Organization, Interconnection Networks, Operating Systems, and Data Structures.
- There is an opportunity to conduct research in this position along with the required job duties.
- The successful candidate will be also be expected to engage in both internal and external professional service such as participation in committees and university activities, organizing conferences and workshops, editorial and panel review.

- Must have a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering or related field.
