Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Description: The Princeton WET LAB (https://ren.princeton.edu/) in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking a postdoctoral research associate or more senior researcher with expertise and interest in interfacial evaporation and critical mineral extraction technologies. The researcher will work with funding agencies and other team members on developing reactor systems for water and mineral recovery from brine and seawater. Desired candidates will have the following experience: *Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, or related disciplines *Experience with hardware/software integration, with a focus on system controls *Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, R, or Arduino *Experience with solar evaporation, desalination, mineral extraction, and/or water electrolysis *Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Applicants should have high self-motivation in research and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. This appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding.
