Job Duties
Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate level is fundamental to this position and to the mission of the Morgan State University. Tenure-track candidates will be expected to establish an externally funded research program, to contribute to knowledge creation evinced through scholarly publications, and to engage in building the department's prominence through professional service. The department is particularly interested in candidates with a background in Manufacturing with interests in intelligent manufacturing systems, automation, and digital twins.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned Doctorate Degree (at the time of appointment) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates with teaching and research interests in the area of Manufacturing with interest in collaboration across the university are encouraged to apply.
