The Fremont Tribune, a Lee Enterprise, Inc. publication is seeking a talented journalist to report about a variety of topics in the community such as government, law enforcement, business, local community members, events and other topics as assigned in print and digital platforms. Fremont, a town of approximately 25,000 is 30 miles from Omaha and 50 from Lincoln, NE.
Are You Ready?
Are you looking for a balance of hard news in addition to feature stories? Can you find the action and report it? Are you able to cultivate sources and build relationships in the community? The successful candidate will be proficient in AP writing and reporting, photography, videography and digital platforms. Preference will be given to candidates with a journalism degree, although internships and experience will be considered. New graduates are welcome to apply! The successful candidate should enjoy getting to know people in the community.
