Learning and Development Content Designer

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for designing and developing effective content and curriculum for learning and development programs that build talent pipeline and align with the enterprise-wide talent development strategy. Partners with subject matter experts and business leaders to assess learning needs and translates those needs into impactful learning programs. Monitors and tracks outcomes of development programs and provides routine analysis and recommendations to the talent strategies team.
How you will make an impact:
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within designated timeframe and established budget. Performs special assignments as directed by the Director, Talent Strategies.
Develops enterprise-wide leadership and employee development programs and provides a high level of customer service with support of those programs. Designs, develops and delivers multi-media training materials (print, classroom, web-based, and blended learning) to support field training programs for participants and facilitators. Materials should use solid instructional design methodology including active learning, job aids, assessments, competency-based evaluations and incorporate adult learning principles. Develops and maintains learner/facilitator guides. Develops pre and post course assessments to measure knowledge transfer. Fosters and influences key stakeholder relationships with HR and business leaders to consult and develop programs that meet talent development needs.

Commensurate with experience starting at $85000.00 /annually
What you will need:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles and instructional design theories and practices. Demonstrated ability to work closely with business leaders to develop learning solutions that support business needs. Demonstrated ability to manage projects including developing project plans, communicating changes and progress, and completing projects on time and within budget. Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of performance management and leadership development trends and practices. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and other training modalities.
