Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $4,170 - $4,380 per month

Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,170 - $7,545 per month
  • This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position.
  • Positions at Fresno State are to perform their work onsite. Some positions, depending upon University needs and operations, may be eligible for remote work, one day per week, pursuant to Fresno State's remote work guidelines and the CSU policy.

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Services for Students with Disabilities, this position provides coordination and oversight of legally mandated reading accommodation (alternative media) services for students with disabilities. The incumbent is responsible for the oversight of the production of alternative media for eligible students as well as provide workflow direction of alternative media to the production student staff.

  • Ability to interpret, apply and clearly communicate disability-related procedures, policies, information, ideas and instructions to students.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and prepare detailed written reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
  • Expertise in investigating and analyzing problems with a broad administrative impact and implications.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, determine appropriate courses of action and appropriately apply policies in pressured situations.
  • Skill in the research, development and evaluation of policies and programs, including skill in the collection, evaluation, and interpretation of data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.

Education and Experience
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree and one year of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation of policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
  • Experience providing accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
